Botton-Champalimaud Pancreatic Cancer Center
Established through a collaboration between the Foundation and Mauricio and Charlotte Botton, this center is the world's first cancer facility dedicated simultaneously to research and treatment of pancreatic cancer and refractory tumors. Its GMP cell preparation laboratory ranks among the most advanced cell processing facilities in Europe and globally.
Integrating cutting-edge services and equipment to ensure patients' health and comfort, the center operates with state-of-the-art technological support, housing research laboratories, a day hospital, surgical suites, as well as inpatient and intensive care facilities. Embracing the Foundation's innovative and differentiated model, it seamlessly integrates science, clinical practice, and patient care through a translational approach that enables the interconnection of research and clinical activities.
